TenPoint’s Titan Xtreme & Turbo XLT II — 2 Power-packed Crossbows

Archery deer season has become a lot more fun now that nearly half of our country’s states allow crossbows to be used during archery seasons. You can add to the excitement this season using TenPoint Crossbows’ venerable Titan Xtreme or the Turbo XLT II.

The time-tested Titan Xtreme has been around for a few years and is still a market leader. The combination of a Fusion

Lite stock and its narrow, 18.5-inch bow assembly at the cocked position make the Titan an attractive addition to any hunter’s arsenal.

The Titan’s 180-pound pull is made possible with the company’s tested HL limbs and XR wheels, which propel a 370-grain Pro Lite Arrow downrange at 333 feet per second, carrying 91 foot pounds of kinetic energy on target. It measures 38 inches long and boasts of an axle-to-axle width of 21.6 inches uncocked and 18.5 inches cocked, with a power stroke 12.6 inches. The Titan weights just 7.3 pounds, making it comfortable to carry all day long in the woods.

Like the Titan Xtreme, the Turbo XLT II features a Fusion Lite stock, and its double-laminated IsoTaper limbs give this dream crossbow a heavyweight punch.

The 38-inch Turbo XLT II weighs 7 pounds and is extremely narrow, with an axle-to-axle width of 17.5 inches uncocked, and just 13.5 inches cocked, with a 12.5-inch power stroke. With a 180-pound draw weight, it fires the 370-grain Pro Lite Arrow at an amazing 345 feet per second, with 98 foot pounds of kinetic energy. That’s serious knockdown power from a compact crossbow! And for archers who want even more power, the Turbo will launch a 545-grain Full Metal Jacket Arrow at 296 feet per second and inflict 106 foot ponds of kinetic energy.

Both of these TenPoint crossbows are sold in packages that include a 3x Pro-View 2 Scope and a three-pack of TenPoint aluminum arrows with practice points. The Turbo XLT II also comes with an Instant Detach 3-Arrow Quiver and Ambidextrous Side-Mount Quiver Bracket. Either crossbow is available with or without a patented cocking mechanism, the ACUdraw or ACUdraw 50. A Rope Cocker is included for Turbo XLTs ordered without a cocking mechanism.

The Titan Xtreme sells for just $599-799, depending on the cocking mechanism, while the Turbo XLT II retails for $799-999, depending on the cocking mechanism.
